OUR HISTORY
OUR VALUES & PURPOSE
Compassion for people and the planet has served as the cornerstone of everything we do since the day our House was built in 2008.
As a small brand, we have little commercial influence over effect change. We have made a commitment, however, to be mindful of everything we do. From sourcing raw materials and promoting traditional craft techniques to collaborating with like-minded small businesses throughout the United Kingdom. That manufacture our products, some of which hold royal warrants. Only a small proportion of our raw material supply chains are based outside of the UK and best in class. Allowing us to weave together personality and purpose, for the whole family.
“Our six guiding principles are family, quality, creativity, craftsmanship, sustainability, and community. Were used to build our home and our guiding values”.

FAMILY
"OSCAR & PATCH, the CANVAS OF THE family LIFE, THE PLACE WE call HOME "
The place our children are born, where we eat and drink and feel at our most comfortable together, where we find comfort and happiness, from the fast-paced modern world, the place that equips our children with the courage to step out into our greater journey because there know it will always be there when they turn around.
We believe in making the most of life's simple pleasures - it's the little things that matter. Precious moments of uncomplicated happiness are our constant inspiration, As children do not collect ideas so much as sense impressions they must hold them like a treasure. It is in that look suddenly when they murmur lovingly over a favorite blanket.” Or when they ask that the covers be tucked in just so.

CRAFTMANSHIP

Founder and designer Lisa Baker is passionate about supporting craft and manufacturing businesses throughout Great Britain with the aim of preserving traditional skills, believing that once a skill is gone, it will never return. These people are the true heroes of the Oscar & Patch story, a triumph for the British landscape that was once the envy of the world for British craft and manufacturing, with their stories embedded in every piece they touch with their hands.
Producing the collection in Britain allows for constant monitoring of the product's quality. Each Oscar & Patch creation is a labor of love that calls for a number of time-honored techniques that come together to produce an heirloom-quality work that is timeless in its form, function, and craftsmanship. And it is with these in mind that we create collections that are built to last and call them future heirlooms.
