I’ve always admired the work of @billycotton, the New York–based interior designer. As a British interior designer, I believe it is important to draw inspiration and ideas much like the great English practitioners of the 18th century, who travelled throughout Europe and beyond, collecting art, studying design, and returning home with a renewed sense of creativity and wonder.

This interior feels like a wonderful example of that spirit. Although rooted in New York, it possesses an Englishness that resonates deeply with me. ❤️

The clean lines, soft off-cream walls, gingham, and sense of modern nostalgia create a space that feels both timeless and quietly whimsical. I could easily imagine it sitting within a beautiful British home.❤️
